Joyce Dewberry
Joyce Robinson Dewberry is an Atlanta born native, she is the eldest of five, and educated in the Atlanta Public School System. In 1973, Minister Dewberry accepted her call into the Ministry and began evangelizing in an Open Air Tent Service and Street Preaching. From that path, she started visiting hospitals, jails, nursing homes, and feeding the homeless.
Later on, the Lord birth within her an Outreach Ministry to help various Pastors and auxiliaries in different churches. In January 1990, under the leadership of Pastor and Overseer Louise Williams, Minister Dewberry was ordained as Assistant Pastor of Temple of Deliverance Pentecostal Church Incorporated. A Radio Ministry was also started under the direction of the Holy Spirit called the “Miracle Prayerlink Deliverance Ministry”.
For the past 12 years, a weekly prayer meeting has been held at the Marietta Road Highrise for Senior Living. Being obedient to God, she helped the District Elder Bennie Mitchell, Sr. and later became a member and Armor- Barrier to the pastor in the Church of JesusPentecostal, Incorporated.
Faithful and loyal to leadership, God displayed his infinite love and united Minister Dewberry to wed Reverend Willie Dewberry, where she journeyed to Cincinnati, Ohio on June 26, 1998. Shortly after returning, the two were compelled to join the Philadelphia Baptist Church under the pastoral guidance of Reverend W. W. Morris, Sr. They were dedicated and faithful for the past 10 years to the mission of the church.
Minister Dewberry is currently an Associate Minister at the Philadelphia Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Emory Arnold, Sr. She is currently heading the Bereavement & Grief ministry.
